I'm having trouble downloading the sheep pattern. Can you help?
ReplyDeleteYou can get it on Ravelry: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/baa-ble-hat
DeleteYou will just have to follow the graph. There is no pattern
ReplyDeleteI can't find the graph. Can you please provide it for me?
ReplyDeleteThe graph is the small pic above
ReplyDeleteThis pattern is stolen - you copied it from Donna Smith.
ReplyDeleteI have been doing the sheep design and the snowflake design she has on her site for more than 40 years and my great aunt has been using it for longer than that. I also have that motif on socks from a major brand I received 20 years ago. You did not back up your accusation with fact. The sheep motif as well as the snowflake motif is not Donna's original work. Are you friends with Donna Smith?
DeleteStolen ... harsh accusations ... and very unfair. Stolen is what the White Christians did when they came to the land known as America and destroyed the native indigenous people - forcing their remaining few into federal reservations!!!
DeleteYep, stolen!!! This is Donna Smith’s pattern from the baa-ble hat. It’s on Ravelry as a paid pattern now. This is so wrong that you’re sharing it as your own here.
ReplyDeleteQué carajos importa ella lo comparte y no te lo cobra!!?
DeleteEs importante porque infringe la ley de derechos de autor Y evita que Donna obtenga un ingreso honesto.
DeleteI went and bought it from Donna Smith just to support and to spite the pirates 🤪
ReplyDeleteThanks, so will I.
DeleteThis is another reason I hate Pinterest! It used to be a helpful site for everyone to share and know it’s gone to the wolves in “sheeps” clothing.
ReplyDeleteI purchased socks with this exact pattern on it from a major wool clothing manufacturer 20 years ago. Still have the socks. I think it's safe to say it's in the public domain and not stolen from an individual.
ReplyDeleteWhen patterns are copy written, they are not public domain! Theft is theft, no getting around it,
DeleteI too have those socks! Do the people commenting think the snowflake design is also an original by her? It would be nice to hear from Donna Smith herself to clear this up.
