Cowls, also known as never ending scarves (because there isn't a start or finish), are super easy to work up; you can literally make one in an hour! Crochet cowls make great gifts for anyone in the family. Use a bulky weight yarn for winter and a lightweight or lacy yarn for summer cowls.

You need:

Hook 4mm and yarn 100gr-400mt(4 ply)

ch = one chain
ch sp = chain space
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
tr = treble crochet, or triple crochet
dtr = double treble crochet
sl st = slip stitch
sp(s) = space(s)
tog = together
sk = skip

Ch 58

Row 1: Ch 4, dc in 5th loop.

Ch 3, skip 3 loop, 3 sc in next loops

Ch 2 ,skip 1 loop, 3 sc in next loops

Ch 3, skip 3 loop,( dc , 2 ch, dc )in 4th loop

* 3ch,3sc,2ch,3sc,3ch,(dc,2ch,dc)* repeat

Row 2: ch 3, 3 dc in first arc, 3 ch, 4 sc, 3 ch 

4 Dc in arc,3ch, 4sc

Row 3: Ch 3, 4dc, 3ch, 2sc

ch3, 8dc

Row 4: *Ch 3, 8dc, 1ch, 16 dc* repeat 

Row 5: how row 1.  1ch, *3sc, 3ch, (dc,2ch,dc) 3ch* repeat 

Repeat rows 2-5

Make cowl how you want length, make "8" one time

You can join when go last row or sew together.
